Wild 

Mist is lifting ~
taking with her the gift
of obscurity.
Mist narrows the vision...
encourages focus...
brings the attention back
to each step taken ~
a return to mindfulness.
Mist comes when needed,
and moves on when its time.

How I ran from vulnerability for such a long time. Until I simply was too tired to run anymore and I heard the voice say "It's going to hurt sometimes ... But you're going to be ok. I promise."

Through it all, I've been ok ever since

I am warrior ~
Then, now, always...

I may find times, my dear sisters,
where I grow weak...
battle-weary...
and I find that my sword becomes
too heavy a load...
and I must lay it down next to me
as I grapple for breath.

It is in these times, my sweet sisters,
that I call upon you,
my army,
to come and circle round me,
protect me,
breathe for me,
give me sustenance
as I heal...
as I have surely done for you.

When I am on my feet again,
and my sword is fast in hand,
we shall finish this battle as one.
We shall see it through together,
and in the looking back...
we will discover
just how much more powerful
each battle has made us...

and we will celebrate ~
win or lose,
as both make us stronger
in the end.

And when the next round shows its face,
we will not run from it...
but gladly, we will run into it ~
knowing that as we keep gaining strength
with each battle,
the eventual outcome WILL BE VICTORY!

So, I am warrior ~
Then, now, always.
And I live in gratitude for you,
my warrior sisters.
